An Evening for Haiti
…to raise money & positive energy

ART ET SPECTACLE the International Festival of Jazz in Port au Prince, Haiti was scheduled to happen next week. For the past few months, Jane Bunnett and Spirit of Havana have been preparing to be there to represent Canada. They, along with many other jazz greats from around the world ,were to take part in week long series of concerts and workshops. The earthquake with its death and devastation has put an end to this – as it has to just about all normal life in Haiti.

Jane wants to help and has asked her band and some very special musical friends to join her in this fund raising effort:

EMI Music Canada + our Associated Labels had a very exciting and successful JUNO Awards weekend in Vancouver taking home a very impressive 13 out of 39 Awards!

Along with all the great wins – there were also amazing performances on the broadcast from Nickelback (more pyro then ever!!), Serena Ryder and The Stills.
