Teen Vogue Checks Out New Hockey Video

Self-proclaimed “rock obsessive” Leigh over at Teen Vogue checks out the latest video from Hockey.  She digs on the silly dancing, which is pretty fantastic.  Personally, I’m extra partial to prefix.com’s description of Hockey as ‘Bob Dylan fronting a new-wave band. Except with lyrics written by Bon Jovi.”  Amazing.

Introducing ‘HOCKEY’

An exciting new band out of Portland,  Hockey’s debut album MIND CHAOS is due for release in Canada on June 16th.  According to The Guardian, Hockey is “A Spoonful of LCD Soundsystem, a splash of the Strokes and a big, melodious dollop of guitar-fueled energy… 2009 might just be theirs for the taking”.  Check out the music of the week for a sample of what’s to come!
