Katy Perry Performs ‘Part Of Me’ At The Grammy’s
Katy attended the 54th Grammy Awards last Sunday where she performed her new single ‘Part Of Me’ for the first time. The single has been sitting at number 1 on the Canadian iTunes chart since Tuesday, which is impressive knowing the single dropped only 3 days ago. MAIDEN ON THE CHARGE
Following the massively successful Final Frontier World Tour 2010-11, IRON MAIDEN are back on the road this summer with a series of Arena, Amphitheatre and Festival shows in Canada and the U.S., opening in Charlotte, NC, U.S.A. on June 21, and finishing in Houston, TX, on Aug 18 (dates listed below), to be followed by further dates around the World in 2013. The MAIDEN ENGLAND WORLD TOUR will closely mirror, in terms of production and content, the original 1988 concert video of the same name, shot on the “Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son Tour”. This opening section of the World Tour is the band’s most extensive visit to North America for many years and includes a number of cities the band have not played in a very long time, such as Charlotte, Atlanta, Buffalo, Indianapolis and Salt Lake City.

The Beach Boys Begin Their Historic 50th Anniversary Tour In April
The Beach Boys, one of the world’s most legendary and influential bands, have reunited for a global 50th Anniversary Tour. Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks will tour together for the first time in more than two decades.
The 40+ city tour, which will begin in April, will feature a headlining date at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 27th and a performance at The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on June 10th. A second show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT has already been added for May 13 due to overwhelming demand. The previously announced May 12 performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena sold out in one day.

The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show
Today 48 years ago is considered a millstone in American pop culture and is known as the beginning of the British Invasion. On February 9, 1964 The Beatles played for the first time in North America on the Ed Sullivan Show, which was broadcasted to an estimated 73 million viewers. During the show they performed “All My Loving,” “Till There Was You,”"I Saw her Standing There” and finishing the show off with “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” Below is footage of the original brodcast from 1964 showing that hysterical teen girls have not changed much from then to now.
KATY PERRY TO RELEASE SPECIAL EDITION OF TRIPLE-PLATINUM ALBUM TEENAGE DREAM ON MARCH 27TH, 2012
Get your calenders out and mark this one down, global pop superstar Katy Perry has announced that she will release a special edition of her triple-platinum certified album Teenage Dream on March 27th, 2012. The first run of the release will feature a limited edition lenticular cover. Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection includes all 12 tracks from the original version of Katy’s second album, including the singles “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.,” “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” and “The One That Got Away,” which all peaked at No. 1 on the BillboardPop Songs chart.
It also features three brand new songs as well as versions of “E.T” featuring Kanye West, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” featuring Missy Elliott, and a moving acoustic version of “The One That Got Away” produced by Jon Brion. None of these alternative versions have ever been available on a physical CD until now. Also included on The Complete Confection is a 7 minute Tommie Sunshine megamix featuring all six No.1 hits.
“This is the complete story of Teenage Dream. It was an incredible honour to tie the King of Pop’s Billboard Hot 100 record, but I’m moving forward and had a few things left to get off my chest. So this is the complete special edition of my album for my fans,” states Katy.
Teenage Dream has generated more than 25.5 million in digital song sales and earned Katy six Grammy Award nominations, including “Album of the Year” and “Record of the Year.” In December, Katy wrapped her hugely successful sold-out arena tour, the 124-date California Dreams World Tour.
