SUNN.Y.
Three times is definitely the charm for BET's seven-time 106 & Park "Freestyle Fridays" champ, SunN.Y. The third time BET asked him to appear on 106 & Park - he was already Atlanta's Hot 107.9 freestyle champ - he accepted, and the third time he met star producer and Virgin Records President of Urban Music, Jermaine Dupri, he became the first artist JD signed to the label. Already popular with the 64 million viewers of "106 & Park," and Atlanta's four million radio listeners, it's only fitting that 22-year-old SunN.Y.'s Virgin Records debut, scheduled for release September 13th is titled OVERNIGHT CELEBRITY.

JOHNTA AUSTIN
For nearly a decade Johnta Austin the now 24-year-old Southwest Atlanta native has been working as an accomplished songwriter. Austin is the pen behind such hits as Toni Braxton's "Just Be A Man (About It)" (2000), Aaliyah's "Miss You (I Miss You)" (2002) and Mariah Carey's smash "We Belong Together" (2005). But it was the tender ballad "Sweet Lady" (1998), recorded by R&B belter Tyrese and written by Austin at the tender age of sixteen that prominently introduced the young scribe to the music world.

Austin's reputable work led him to producer Bryan-Michael Cox, who in 2003 introduced Austin to Jermaine Dupri. "J.D. would ask me to write on some tracks," recalls Austin. "I would demo all the vocals and J.D. started listening to my voice. Then I did this song called "Lil More Love." After he heard it, he was like, 'When I get this new situation [with Virgin], I'm gonna sign you." Dupri later signed Austin to So So Def/Virgin Records in the spring of 2005.

Austin is fully prepared to unleash his long-awaited So So Def/Virgin Records debut, OCEAN DRIVE that set for release this fall. OCEAN DRIVE is the album Austin has waited years to make: classic R&B with poignant ballads, soulful rhythms and easy-going sex appeal. "We tried to create an album that's timeless," he adds.

T.WATERS
Born Anthony Waters in Brooklyn and raised in Yonkers until he was nine before being sent to Savannah, Georgia to live with father. While down south, T. Waters became friends with Savannah, GA rapper, Camoflauge, who became a mentor to the young rapper. After Camoflauge was gunned down in May 2003, the first thing Waters did was move back to New York. Once back home in Yonkers, T. Waters hooked up with The LOX and began recording mixtapes and touring alongside the D-Block crew. In between the road and recording sessions with The LOX, he continued to write and record his own demo. In many ways his stay in the South and his roots in the North shaped his sound. Waters album debut THE DROUGHT IS OVER, schedule for release in early 2006 combines the hardcore gritty texture of New York against the popular party vibe of Southern flavored hip-hop.

YOUNG CAPONE
"The Epitome of young, fly and flashy."-Jermaine Dupri.

Born and raised on the south side of Atlanta, YOUNG CAPONE moved to Decatur when he was five years old. Trying to stay out of trouble, CAPONE started freestyling, even before he knew the art form had a name. He started attending local shows, and realized he was better than most of his competition. In 2002, CAPONE hooked up with a local Decatur club promoter, Wallo, and another one of his homeboys, T-Roc who had a group, the Heavyweights. CAPONE appeared on their album, "Undisputed" and performed with them at various shows. Shortly after YOUNG CAPONE recorded the soon-to-be hit "I'm Hot" with T-Roc and it was handed out to mixtape DJs is when So So Def came calling. Stay tuned for YOUNG CAPONE's mixtape, "Money Talks" and his So So Def/Virgin debut dropping soon
