Sweet Thing, the five piece band from Toronto that you keep hearing about, are set to release their full-length album on August 17, 2010, but they are already becoming known for their unbelievable live shows - just check out this 95-point review from Chartattack.com.
If you’re in Toronto on Wednesday, August 18, come by the Mod Club at 8PM and see Sweet Thing bring their incredible energy and edgy-pop sound to the stage. Tickets are a modest $12 - and trust us, you’ll get more than your money’s worth!

Formed in 2004, by lead singer Owen Carrier and Alex Winter (guitar, backing vocals), the band includes Nick Rose (guitar, vocals), Morgan Waters (bass, backing vocals) and Tyler Kyte (drums). Sweet Thing recorded the debut album in Los Angeles with the help of veteran producer Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliot Smith, The Vines) and engineer Doug Boehm (Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy).

About The Film
The award winning film ‘IRON MAIDEN: FLIGHT 666’ is coming to selected theatres across Canada next week on May 5th for one night only. The movie is a full length documentary film, about the first leg of the band’s historic Somewhere Back In Time World Tour in February and March of 2008, considered to be the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history, and is a revealing portrait of one of the world’s most successful rock bands and an inspirational and often humorous account of the chaotic world of a band on tour.
