Billy Corgran, front-man of The Smashing Pumpkins, is helping out long time friend and Professional Wrestler Mick Foley raise money for his #10forRAINN campaign. In order to help Foley reach his $100,000 goal Corgan is donating one of his own Fender Startocaster Guitar. The Olympic White guitar will be personalized and signed by Corgan.
100% of all the proceeds will be going to RAINN (Rape Abuse & Incest National Network) which is the largest organization that works to prevent sexual assault.
To bid on this guitar and help an great cause head over to ebay.

EMI teamed up with the Red Cross to support people that are affected by last month’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan and held an auction of exclusive personal items from the labels artist and songwriters. Music fans around the world took to the auction site bidding on items to a grand total of $470,000. EMI has doubled the funds raised donating a total of $940,000 to the Red Cross.
Some of the top selling items were Jane Birkin’s original Birkin bag that went for more than $163,000; the 1987 Ferrari that was used in Daft Punk’s movie ‘Electroma’ raised around $42,000 and Deadmau5 donated a Diamante costume head that had a winning bid of more than $19,000.
Thank you to all people that help EMI raise money for the Red Cross Japan relief.

Over the weekend Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain met up with Lady Gaga and tweeted this picture. The two where in Tampa where they were performing at St. Pete Times Forum (Lady Gaga took the stage on Saturday and Iron Maiden on Sunday). McBrain is a big fan of the pop icon telling St. Petersburg Times that “She’s absolutely adorable! I threw out an invite. If she wants to learn to play drums, she could sit on my knee and we could talk about the first thing — ”
Well it looks like the two met up, who knows if Gaga took McBrain’s offer to play drums with him.

In an effort to help the Red Cross raise funds for all the people that have been affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan the EMI family is coming together.
