
You may have already heard that Snoop Dogg is back in the EMI family - and not just to release his album. EMI Music has appointed the icon to a brand new position of Creative Chairman of its famed Priority Records Label.
What does the Creative Chairman do, you may ask? Well, let me explain! In a nutshell, the Doggfather is going to be overseeing digital and business opportunities at the label. He will also Executive Produce for a new series of of albums that will start be released in 2010 to commemorate the label’s 25th anniversary. Priority Records catalog includes classic recordings by Snoop himself, as well as N.W.A, Eazy-E, Master P, Ice Cube, Westside Connection, EPMD and others. Amazing.
Back to Snoop’s new album, Malice N Wonderland. It’s been confirmed for release on December 8th of this year, but your friends at EMIssion had a chance to listen to the album last night and it’s … … … incredible!
